At V7, we’re building AI platforms that help humans do their best work, at incredible scale and speed. Our mission is to turn human knowledge into trustworthy AI, making complex tasks faster, smarter, and more accurate.

We’re growing fast, backed by leading investors and AI pioneers (including the minds behind Transformers and Gemini).

V7 Go is the flagship document processing and workflow automation platform featuring specialized AI agents for finance, insurance, legal, and real estate. V7 Darwin is the computer vision data labelling platform for training custom AI models.

The team you'll be joining and impact you'll have:

  • Join a small but critical finance team, reporting directly into Nikita, our Finance Lead.

  • This is a hands-on, detail-driven accountant role - not a finance ops or financial controller role.

  • You’ll own and deliver the monthly management accounts and ensure all financial processes are accurate, timely, and efficient.

  • Be part of a fast-scaling business gearing up for Series B, where finance is central to enabling growth in the UK and US.

What you'll be doing from day one:

  • Own end-to-end production of the management accounts, including income recognition in a SaaS business under FRS 102.

  • Prepare accruals, prepayments, journals, and maintain supporting schedules for deferred and accrued income.

  • Run payroll for UK and EOR employees via Rippling, and ensure accuracy across entities.

  • Bookkeeping for UK and US entities in Xero, including weekly bank reconciliations and matching receipts in Maxio.

  • Manage supplier payments, aged payables, and employee expenses.

  • Deliver reporting packs, budgets, and month-end BVA commentary that supports decision-making.

  • Submit VAT returns and assist with outsourced functions like statutory accounts, corporation tax, and R&D claims.

  • Administer equity through Capdesk, supporting share option grants and EMI returns.

  • Support audits, compliance reporting, and ad hoc projects such as budgeting, forecasting, and metrics reviews.

Who you are:

  • ACA or ACCA newly qualified, with a solid grounding in accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.

  • Experienced in running the full management accounts process and payroll end-to-end.

  • Hands-on with Xero (experience with Maxio, Rippling, and Deel a plus).

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Comfortable consolidating UK and US entities in Xero, with working knowledge of transfer pricing.

  • Proactive and adaptable—you thrive in fast-paced, startup environments and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to get things done.

  • Excited to grow into a future Financial Controller role as the business scales.

Compensation Range: £50K - £70K
